High pressure system from China has extended its ridge to cover the upper North and Northeast Thailand and the South China Sea. Decreasing rain is likely in the upper Thailand and cool in the morning. A low pressure cell cover the lower Gulf. Increasing rain with heavy to very heavy rain in some places are likely over the south from Surat Thani and southward. People in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla should beware of flooding conditions. Wave height above 2 meters is likely in the Gulf mostly in the thundershowers areas.
