Westerly trough lies across northern and upper northeastern Thailand. This causes thundershowers with isolated gust and heavy rains after that 2-4 °C drops in temperature. People in the these areas such as Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Tak, Nong Khai and Loei should beware flooding conditions during this period.
The monsoon trough across the South causes of abundant rainfall with isolated heavy falls. Wind and waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea are above 2 meters in thundershower areas. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution during this period.
