"Heavy rain in the South and high wave in the Gulf"
The rather active northeast monsoon prevails over the South and the Gulf of Thailand while a low pressure cell over the coastal area of Malaysia is weaken. These cause fairly thundershowers and isolated heavy rain over the lower south. People in risky areas of Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat, Trang and Satun provinces should beware flooding condition. Meanwhile, wind-wave has strengthened in the Gulf. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore during this period.
Besides, the surge of intense high system over Thailand is weakening. But cool in generally is likely over the areas.
