"Heavy rain and flooding conditions in the South while cool over upper Thailand"
Rather active low pressure trough lies across lower southern Thailand toward the low pressure cell in the lower South China Sea. Torrential rain are expected over southern Thailand. People in the risky areas such as Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla and Pattani provinces should beware of flooding conditions and all ship in the Gulf should proceed with caution during 9-11 November.
Another surge of moderate high pressure system has extended its ridge to cover upper Thailand by today (9 November, 2008). Thundershowers are expected in the first time and 1-3 °C drops in temperature with windy over the areas. It will begin to the North and Northeast and then the other parts.
