The rather strong northeast monsoon dominates the Gulf and southern Thailand, and a low pressure cell covers the eastern portion of Malaysia. The lower Southern Thailand from Phatthalung southward is triggered by torrential rain and heavy fall. People in risk areas should beware of flooding due to successive rain along mountainous in a few days. Provinces prone to risk include Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Trang and Satun. Besides, winds and waves have been likely to strengthen in the Gulf during 29 Nov - 1 Dec.
