The intense high pressure system from China has covered upper Thailand causing colder weather and 2-3 °C drops with windy. The northeast monsoon over the Gulf and southern Thailand gains strength with wave 2-3 meters in the Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 5-9 December 2008.The low pressure cell in the lower South China Sea trends to move through Malaysia during 6-8 December. Abundant rain and isolated heavy to very heavy fall are likely in lower southern Thailand. Due to heavy rain conditions, people in disaster areas along mountainous and riverside areas in the lower South should beware of repetitive flooding.
