The intense high pressure system from China has covered upper Thailand and the South China Sea causing shower, cold weather and 1-3 °C drops with windy.The strong northeast monsoon over the Gulf and southern Thailand, and the low pressure cell near the coastal area of eastern Malaysia. Abundant rain and isolated heavy to very heavy fall are likely in lower southern Thailand from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. Due to heavy rain conditions, people in disaster areas along mountainous and riverside areas should beware of repetitive flooding during this period. Wind and wave with 2-3 meters in the Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 6-9 December 2008.
