The strong northeast monsoon dominates the South and the Gulf of Thailand, and a low pressure cell covers the coastline of Malaysia. The lower Southern Thailand is triggered by torrential rain and isolated heavy fall. People in risk areas should beware of flooding due to successive rain along mountainous in a few days. Provinces prone to risk include Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Besides, winds and waves have been likely to strengthen in the Gulf until 1 December. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
The surge of intense high pressure has covered upper Thailand and brings cooler weather, 2-4°C drop(Dec 28-29) and windy.
